Position Specific Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Principal Product Manager to lead product high-impact product initiatives. In this role, you will set the product direction and strategy, oversee comprehensive roadmaps for product portfolios, and drive strategic innovation. The Principal Product Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping NextEra Analytics' strategic product vision, influencing organizational direction, and delivering products that define the future of renewable energy. This position is responsible for leading new product development. The successful candidate is responsible for developing a product roadmap for new challenges faced by customers in NextEra Energy Resources and Florida Power and Light. Employees in this role will provide project leadership and direction in guiding various internal teams to ensure timely and effective project execution within the SCRUM development framework.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides project leadership and direction in guiding various internal teams to ensure timely and effective project execution within the Agile development framework
- Leads sprint planning and directing the implementation of critical and complex projects which typically involves and impacts multiple business unit stakeholders"

- Oversees the development of modeling using various modeling algorithms such as supervised machine learning, optimization techniques, time series forecasting and regression analysis
- Guides the development of new or enhances existing analytical models using programming or scripting languages or performs quantitative studies to support many aspects of the business
- Administers current forecast solutions including model training, new site setup and customer service
- Plans and executes on a multi-generational product plan
- Leads new product development initiatives, oversees process improvement projects and contributes to technical analytical systems
- Provides frequent status updates and presentations, both formal and informal, to varying levels of management
- Participates in employee development, coaching and ongoing performance management
- Travels to remote office locations for detailed requirements gathering and major project briefings - travel expected 10-25% of the time
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience: 6+ years
Preferred Qualifications
• Master's Degree
The estimated base pay for this position is $119,200.00 to $178,800.00 per year. Starting pay will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, job-related and industry knowledge and skills and education/training.
