Position Specific Description
The successful candidate will lead the management, process improvement, and optimization of the integration of our newly built renewable energy plants into our world-class operating fleet with extensive executive level exposure. The position requires traditional Industrial Engineering (process management and quality improvement) skills and strong IT/software capabilities, particularly in data analytics and automation using the Microsoft Power Platform suite.
Accountabilities
- Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma principles to improve standardized work processes.
- Act as the product owner for the process management system, optimizing it to support effective project transitions from construction to operations.
- Design and improve process flows, enforcing quality control to enhance workflow consistency and reduce waste.
- Utilize Power BI to develop metrics, dashboards, and analytical tools for project insights and leadership decision-making.
- Identify and implement process automation via Power Automate to improve data management and collaboration efficiency.
- Troubleshoot system issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to workflows.
- Create and deliver training materials and presentations to educate stakeholders on system features and improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions and drive operational excellence.
- Mentor junior engineers and team members to support their professional development.
Capabilities
- Bachelor of Science Industrial Engineer, other engineering degrees will be considered
- Expertise with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Query, Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Excel.
- Work experience in industrial engineering with a focus on process improvement.
- Demonstrated capability in leading development and change efforts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and professional skills.
- Knowledge and experience in power generation or renewable energy technology is a plus.
- Training or experience with quality improvement methodologies, including Six Sigma and Lean.
