Position Specific Description

In this role you will have the opportunity to work with management, project developers, and other business units on energy industry specific GIS application functions including database development, research, spatial analysis, and map production. This position will identify, evaluate, and execute renewable energy project development opportunities by leveraging spatial and other industry specific data sources.


Majority of time will be spent working with business unit management and project developers to understand and prioritize user requirements; coordinating successful completion of projects including the production of high-quality deliverables; data modeling to design and support moderately complex special products including maps, digital data, reports, and statistics; identifying and delivering innovative solutions to meet dynamic and evolving business needs for the company; producing high-quality maps and posters for management to utilize in communicating and marketing the company's strategy to senior management as well as local, state, and federal government representatives; providing analysis and support to all business units within the Company, developing and providing GIS application/tool training and mentoring; and providing support to users of desktop and web GIS applications. Experience with ESRI suite of applications required. ArcGIS Portal, ArcSDE, and Enterprise GIS experience is highly preferred. We look forward to reviewing your application.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED        
  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: 0+ years
