Position Specific Description

This position is part of the growing RNG Team within NextEra Energy’s Power Generation Division.

The Gas Collection and Control System (GCCS) Wellfield/Gas Operations Technician must have solid written and verbal communication, technical, and analytical skills. The Wellfield/Gas Operations Technician should possess extensive knowledge and experience with all aspects of landfill GCCS design, operations, and management. The role requires at least (3-6) years of relevant experience at U.S. landfills subject to Federal NSPS requirements.

The GCCS- Wellfield/Gas Operations Tech must demonstrate a strong aptitude in mechanical work, understands relevant regulatory requirements, is experienced in reading and implementing GCCS plans, equipment operating and maintenance manuals, and schematics.
