Position Specific Description

FPL Energy Services (FPLES)  is seeking an IT Architect Leader with in-depth experience in Agile software development lifecycle.  This Technical role will be supporting building and deploying new capabilities using Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud platform.  This technology Leader should have experience with system build and delivery including all layers of an application, it's production support and monitoring, application life cycle management, and management of interfaces and downstream integration.

 

Essential Skills:

Strong leadership skills
Experience with Agile Development Environment
Technical expertise in CRM products like Salesforce platform Sales & Service, ServiceTitan, Zuora platform
Data modelling / data architecture experience
Salesforce platform certification (preferred)
Hands-on implementation experience in Sales and/or Service cloud platform and its technologies such as APEX, Aura
Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
Familiarity with integration / middleware solutions e.g. Mulesoft
Experience in managing development teams
Excellent communication skills
High proficiency with portfolio tools and processes, preferably Jira

Individuals facilitate and orchestrate the delivery of targeted business outcomes through technical decisions. Leaders in this job serve as top-level experts and visionaries in the development of roadmaps, strategy, and design for assigned technology areas.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Works with business partners to analyze strategy and trends to define the requirements, principles, and models that guide technology decisions
  • Communicates and enforces technology standards with business partners
  • Understands industry trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies
  • Drives digital innovation and develops roadmaps through new technologies and approaches to fulfill strategic business plans
  • Defines high-level migration plans to address gaps in current state
  • Coaches, mentors, and leads technical subject matters experts to enable and drive consistency across technology architectures
  • Designs and owns governance, assurance, and standards activities for enterprise technology architecture compliance
  • Oversees and facilitates the evaluation, risk assessment, selection, and design of hardware and software technology and product standards
  • Delivers technology architecture artifacts, possibly including reference architectures or concepts of operation
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: 7+ years

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
