Position Specific Description
Our FPLES Strategy team is looking for a Manager Strategic Initiatives who thrives on solving complex problems, driving innovation, and working at the intersection of business transformation and technology.
In this role, you will not only lead high-impact projects across FPLES and FPL XD workstreams but also gain direct exposure to senior leadership, influencing decisions that fuel growth and efficiency across the business.
The ideal candidate is a self-driven problem solver and decision-maker with strong project management skills, the ability to identify opportunities for AI-enabled transformation, and a track record of successfully leading business transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities
· Serve as the primary liaison between FPLES and FPL XD workstreams, driving project management of cross-functional initiatives.
· Identify AI-powered opportunities to transform business processes, reduce costs, and unlock new growth
· Lead and support business transformation projects, including developing growth strategies, process improvements, and market research insights.
· Conduct market research and translate insights into actionable strategies that strengthen our competitive edge.
· Partner with Product Development, Program Managers, and business leaders to shape growth strategies for existing and new programs
· Drive bi-annual strategic planning offsites, ensuring alignment on priorities and actionable outcomes.
· Mentor and coach colleagues, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
· Evaluate and advise on solutions to complex data and technology opportunities.
· Establish and track baseline performance measures to ensure program success.
Required Skills & Attributes
· Proven ability to make decisions quickly and operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
· Strong project management expertise, preferably with experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
· Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complexity and deliver actionable solutions.
· Tactical and strategic thinking, with high levels of self-direction, innovation, and imagination.
· Experience with Agile methodology and comfort working across diverse teams.
Job Overview
This job will use business management consulting skills to work with internal clients through all stages of strategy-based transformation engagements.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides thought leadership and execution support on client assignments to craft strategy
 - Conducts both client and market development to grow the business
 - Consults with clients to identify, clarify, and solve problems critical to clients' strategy and operating success
 - Develops conclusions and recommendations, writes reports, assists in client presentations and provides implementation assistance as required
 - Constructs the analytical framework and work steps for each assignment, and leads the problem solving process associated
 - Performs other job-related duties as assigned
 
Required Qualifications
- High School Grad / GED
 - Bachelor's Degree
 - Experience:8+ years
 - Supervisor/Management Experience:2+ years
