Position Specific Description

Candidate must be located in AZ, NM, CA, CO, NV, OK, TX, or UT.


As a sales partner with the Leasing team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining successful high-level relationships with key accounts across our national territories (southwest, southeast, and Midwest/east) with travel up to 90% . If you enjoy building a book of business from the ground up, this is the role for you!  You will inherit existing key accounts however, the right candidate enjoys the thrill of prospecting and researching proactively.  You will constantly identify new ways to introduce FPL Energy Services' products and services to customers. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced, rapidly-growing “outside sales” team at the ground level, with plenty of growth opportunities.  You must be a team player with a positive, flexible, can-do attitude who loves working with people.  Prior experience with selling lease agreements is desired!
 

Job Overview

Employees in this position are responsible for sourcing new sales opportunities within a specific territory as well as managing existing business to business partner accounts.  Employees in this role support Channel Partners throughout the sales process in all sales-oriented activities.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Builds strong relationships with partners and sub-agents to maintain and expand our database of prospects and customers within your assigned territory including on-boarding of new partners, reporting and training
  • Researches accounts, additional locations and identifies additional opportunities for sites too far from network to help win current opportunities
  • Works with Channel Lead to identify new partners and sub-agents, supporting all channel events
  • Supports Channel Partners in selling company products, focusing on qualifying, quoting, and closing business
  • Teams with Channel Partners to build, review and forecast sales
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Experience: 2+ years
  • Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Equivalent Experience
