Position Specific Description
As a Business Development Manager, you will support the Florida Power & Light Optional Supplemental Power Services (OSPS) group which is responsible for selling and implementing resiliency and backup power solutions for commercial, industrial, governmental, and critical infrastructure customers. Solutions include backup generators, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), power monitoring, and related electrical infrastructure. In this role, you will build relationships with decision-makers to drive sales with end-use commercial/industrial and governmental customers. This role works closely with the OSPS Project development team to close sales. Flexible work arrangements may be available; however, regular travel throughout the state of Florida is expected.
Job Overview
Employees in this role build relationships with national and/or multi account customers to drive sales. This position is responsible for selling FPLES product/service lines (ESCO, Lighting, Power Quality) directly to end use commercial/industrial and governmental customers. Individuals work closely with FPLES direct sales team to jointly close sales on project originated via business development activities

• Develops account and territory planning
• Prepares reporting analysis
• Ability to meet attendance and storm duty requirements
