Position Specific Description

Employees in this job plan, monitor and manage internal projects from initiation through completion. This role provides direction on projects to the department or project team members.


This position requires the successful candidate to function in a diverse and dynamic team that employs a “start-up” business mentality to meet market demands. Must have excellent organizational abilities and be able to handle the tracking multiple projects simultaneously. Employees in this role will have opportunities to learn the NextEra Energy Solutions business from the front lines and make significant contributions to the teams’ success. 

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities

-    Primary responsibility will be to organize and coordinate commercial pricing requests between the Origination & Development teams
-    Build and maintain commodities pricing index for all of NES product lines
-    Plans, coordinates and completes several medium or small project(s) within
-    budgetary and scheduling guidelines
-    Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
-    Secures required resources and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources,
-    budgets, risks and changes
-    Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis
-    Identifies issues and challenges, measures and validates results, and implements solutions
-    Provides information to internal and external clients on moderate to complex issues
-    Creates and communicates presentation materials for report out and updates with various
-    levels of internal and external stakeholders
-    Conducts external research and stays abreast of new developments or innovative
-    advancements pertaining to the project
-    Performs other job-related duties as assigned
-    Leads and coordinates key functions of project implementation such as managing agreements with consultants and subcontractors
-    Performs other job-related duties as assigned  
-    Expected Travel 10%
