Position Specific Description

The role of Nuclear Supply Chain Manager at a nuclear site entails managing all supply chain functions to support the Integrated Supply Chain's representation with site Nuclear management. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing supply chain policies and practices to support the nuclear organization, supervising and coaching the Supply Chain team to enhance productivity and reduce costs, managing materials acquisition and procurement engineering to achieve competitive power production objectives, overseeing the supplier base to ensure continual development and performance monitoring, and maintaining strong relationships with business units to synchronize schedules and business requirements. The position also involves fostering efficiency and integrity in materials management and supporting storm readiness and recovery efforts in the designated area.

Job Overview

Employees in this position provide a single point of contact and governance and oversight between the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) and the Nuclear site(s). Individuals are also responsible for the materials management functions.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Attends daily, weekly, and monthly meetings with the site on topics such as plant modifications, equipment reliability, outage core team, daily fleet calls, and end-of-day site management calls
  • Tracks and provides updates to the site that include outage materials, daily site report updates, updates on parts and project status, and the expediting of parts in support of operational effectiveness
  • Provides after-hours support related to warehouse, purchasing, parts requests, evening and weekend management calls in support of operational effectiveness
  • Maintains compliance to all Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) narratives and oversees all Nuclear warehouse regulation compliance activities
  • Provides leadership for all ISC functional areas on site including supervision of warehouse employees
  • Leads ISC site projects
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: 7+ years
  • Supervisor/Management Experience: 1+ years
