Position Specific Description

NextEra Energy is seeking an individual knowledgeable for maintenance practices of electrical switch gear, motor control centers, and associated control systems. The position will provide local support for equipment maintenance, operation and troubleshooting for a solar thermal power plant. Knowledge and/or hands on experience with all electrical and instrumentation systems in a power plant including DCS control systems. Troubleshooting and repair is desirable.

 

Position is flexible upon location; candidate may reside near various sites from NC to ME, but NorthEast is highly preferable.

Job Overview

Employees in this role direct a team of production and maintenance technicians and contractors in plant maintenance activities. Individuals in this position lead internal and external resources to Deliver Certainty, executing plant maintenance to achieve short and long term site goals and objectives in safety, environmental, compliance, reliability, availability and cost management.
