Position Specific Description

Position is responsible for supporting all financial initiatives for the NEER Infrastructure Projects portfolio.  The position is responsible for timely completion of all assigned tasks and supports the coordination and execution of IT strategic initiatives that may require data collection, financial modeling and analyses, due diligence, project management, change management, optimization of work processes, continuous process improvement and making recommendations to management. Successful person will be action oriented, resourceful, and demonstrate effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

 

Primary (Essential) Job Functions:

•    Supports management by extracting, organizing, and reporting on data in a manner that is useful and relevant for making business decisions, including preparation of dashboards, spreadsheets, graphics, presentations, and word documents
•    Conducts research to support small to medium special projects
•    Provides reporting for project actuals from SAP Financial
•    Develops financial models to support project teams
•    Provides leadership with financial trends and forecasts
•    Partners with ISC to develop SOWs, POs, and guidance for the hardware procurement process
•    Participates in identifying and recommending continuous improvement solutions for increased overall performance, productivity, and capability
•    Ensures compliance of rules and regulations across multiple business units (e.g. ISC, HR, etc.)
•    Collaborates effectively with colleagues from multiple departments – Engineering and Construction, Development, Corporate Real Estate, Human Resources, Power Generation, Integrated Supply Chain, Legal and Accounting 
•    Assists team members with Vendor Management Office (VMO) requirements relative to procurement of equipment and services (e.g. SOW creation, cyber security, etc.)
•    Supports new lines of business (e.g. JIRA, ServiceNow, etc.); assists in finding cost reductions 
•    Performs storm related duties as required
•    Performs other job-related duties as assigned

 

Required Minimum Qualifications:

•    Education:  Bachelor’s degree
•    Experience: 3+ years 
•    Experience: MS Office, Visio, and SAP

 

Preferred Qualifications:

•    Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree – Business Administration
•    Preferred Experience: 5+ years
