Position Specific Description
This role is responsible to perform engineering assignments of a complex nature requiring application of engineering skills. Coordinate with multiple groups, inside and outside the business unit to produce complete designs, including but not limited to distribution operations, design and application, business services, and regulatory to name a few. Provides technical support and training to lower-level professionals and supports the development of new processes and guidelines for diverse engineering initiatives.
Job Overview
This job is responsible for applying diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices to a broad variety of assignments and related fields. Employees in this role evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform a task or sequence of tasks for conventional projects. This position conducts analysis on system performance and reliability strategy and provides recommendations.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Works on all aspects of engineering design and permitting
• Acts as a single point of contact for mid-level complexity projects for the department
• Tracks and reports on performance
• Delivers company standards, policies, training, and support of organization
• Prepares communications and presentations, and conducts meetings
• Meets attendance and storm duty requirements
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
• High School Grad / GED
• Bachelor's - Engineering
• Experience:2+ years
Preferred Qualifications
• Certified Professional Engineer (PE)
• Six Sigma Black Belt Certified
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certified
• Master's Degree
• Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certified
• Six Sigma Master Black Belt
