Position Specific Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technician II to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in day-to-day operations, provide administrative support, and ensure smooth office functions. • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence.
• Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and mail. • Maintain and organize office records, files, and databases.
• Coordinate and schedule travel arrangements for staff.
• Support the organization with the coordination of company events and meetings.
• Monitor office supplies and place orders as needed.
• Assist with basic accounting tasks, such as processing payments, creating invoices, and managing expense reports.
• Handle damage claim inquiries.
• Route trouble tickets throughout the service center.
• Manage the routing, reconciliation, and closing of WMS work orders.
• Assist with bargaining union timesheets and input/output operations.
• Have excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • Be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Be detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Job Overview
Employees in this role are responsible for performing a full range of technical and operational tasks in support of the service center work flow and management. This position manages work request dependencies and tasks to ensure work flow progression and customer service required dates are met. Employees in this job ensure proper as-built and timely closing of work requests by reconciling and balancing material and labor and providing technical support for the service center.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Under general supervision:
• Prepares job packages
• Manages work request dependencies and task (requirements)
• Manages and maintains 52 week calendar for resource availability
• As-built work request for proper closing (labor and material)
• Completes customer communication letters
• Updates various databases (NJUNS, vault inspection, etc.)
• Verifies invoices
• Meets attendance and storm duty requirements
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
• High School Grad / GED
• Experience: 2+ years
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree
