Position Specific Description

This role leads a team of production and/or maintenance technicians and contractors in plant operation and maintenance activities. Individuals in this position lead internal and external resources to deliver certainty, executing plant maintenance and operations activities to achieve short and long-term site goals and objectives in safety, environmental, compliance, reliability, availability, and cost management. This position is located at the Gulf Clean Energy Center in Pensacola Florida. GCEC generation assets include 4 conventional units converted from coal to run 100% natural gas and 4 dual fuel simple cycle combustion turbines.

 

Preferred candidate would have 4+ years of conventional boiler/turbine operation and maintenance experience.

•   Standardizes processes, procedures, and techniques to ensure repeatability
•   Assumes direct accountability for internal employee development and performance management
•   Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: 5+ years
  • High School Grad / GED
  • Supervisor/Management Experience: 2+ years
