Position Specific Description

This position serves as a senior scrum master specializing in digital workspace enterprise-wide services including endpoint device deployment, core IT tool sets, end user 
experience, secure remote connectivity, and infrastructure storm support. The role requires 
balancing agile methodologies with traditional project management approaches to 
optimize technology solutions and business outcomes while supporting NextEra's digital 
workspace strategy of simplifying, managing, and modernizing the technology landscape.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Digital Workspace Product Delivery:

  • Lead agile delivery for core digital workspace functions: monitoring/observability 
    optimization, digital experience enhancement, mainframe modernization (SAP 
    migration via Xploration Destiny), and virtual infrastructure zero-trust capabilities
  • Support strategic efforts including tools rationalization, application simplification, 
    and End Point Compute streamlining using Modern Device Management platform
    Agile Leadership & Hybrid Project Management:
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies while adapting traditional project management 
    elements for complex infrastructure initiatives
  • Guide development teams delivering tech simplification initiatives: software asset 
    management centralization, observability frameworks, and digital experience 
    monitoring tools
  • Balance agile practices with enterprise requirements for emergency response 
    readiness and cyber resiliency end user devices

Stakeholder Management & Performance Optimization:

  • Collaborate with product owners to manage backlogs for digital workplace services 
    targeting 15% MTTR reduction
  • Facilitate transparent communication between teams delivering products, IT 
    operations and business representatives
  • Support Voice of Customer initiatives by incorporating employee feedback into 
    digital workspace product development cycles
    Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement:
  • Drive productivity improvements in device management, supporting deployment 
    readiness reduction from 3 days to 2 hours for storm response
  • Champion quality standards for secure, compliant user experiences across physical 
    and virtual ecosystems
  • Implement improvements targeting 80% deployment speed increases and extended 
    equipment range expansion

Preferred Qualifications

  • Agile certifications: CSM, CSPO, PSM, CSP, PMI-ACP, SAFe SPC, or ITIL
  • Experience with Modern Device Management platforms, endpoint security, and 
    enterprise observability tools
  • Knowledge of storm response/emergency management technology requirements
  • Software Asset Management and tools rationalization experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience with Voice of Customer programs and employee experience initiatives
  • Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated success in complex technology 
    delivery environments

Special Considerations
This role requires flexibility to adapt methodologies for emergency response requirements, 
regulatory compliance, and enterprise security standards. The position involves regular 
coordination with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business continuity teams to ensure 
digital workspace solutions support NextEra's operational resilience and employee 
experience objectives.

Job Overview

This job provides leadership and direction to an Agile team, serves as an expert in the Scrum process, and enforces Scrum rules and framework. Employees in this role organize and facilitate release and sprint planning sessions, daily stand-up meetings, sprint demos, retrospectives, story refining sessions, and related activities. Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Organizes and facilitates work planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, and sprint and release planning
  • Facilitates collaboration for both internal and external teams, resolving conflict, removing impediments, and reducing external dependencies
  • Coaches team members and stakeholders in preparation for Scrum ceremonies and events and in goal attainment
  • Coaches team in Agile sizing techniques, makes appropriate and realistic commitments, and works closely with Product Owners
  • Uses the Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool to prepare, communicate, and share team metrics and delivery results
  • Creates a product roadmap, coaches the writing of value-driven user stories, features, and epics, and maintains a well-refined backlog
  • Provides regular feedback to the Agile Transformation Team about new insights and lessons learned from team experiences
  • Embraces servant leadership and displays behaviors that come with the key mindset shifts associated with being Agile
  • Keeps informed and educated about industry trends concerning Agile methodologies
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: 4+ years
