Position Specific Description

The Senior Manager role for Strategic Programs & Cybersecurity Transformation is responsible for leading enterprise-scale technology and operational transformation programs across the organization, beginning with a multi-year Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity Program. This role provides strategic leadership, governance, financial oversight, and execution management for highly complex initiatives that span cybersecurity, infrastructure, operational technology, compliance, and IT and Business unit domains. 

The position requires a proven leader with extensive experience delivering large-scale Technology programs with measurable business outcomes. The Senior Manager will partner with executive leadership, cybersecurity teams, operations, infrastructure, architecture, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives while managing risk, budget, scope, and organizational change. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Program Leadership 

  • Lead enterprise-scale strategic programs, beginning with the OT Cybersecurity Transformation Program.  

  • Establish and manage end-to-end program governance, execution strategy, delivery plans, milestones, and performance metrics.  

  • Drive alignment across IT, OT, cybersecurity, infrastructure, operations, engineering, compliance, and executive leadership teams.  

  • Manage complex interdependencies across multiple workstreams, vendors, technologies, and business units.  

  • Ensure programs are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to strategic business objectives.  

 

Technology Transformation 

  • Lead large-scale OT cybersecurity modernization initiatives focused on risk reduction, compliance, resilience, and operational security.  

  • Partner with cybersecurity leadership to define and execute enterprise OT security roadmaps and transformation strategies.  

  • Coordinate implementation of cybersecurity controls, governance frameworks, and operational processes across OT environments.  

 

Financial & Portfolio Management 

  • Oversee large-scale program budgets, forecasting, resource planning, procurement, and financial governance activities.  

  • Develop executive-level reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and program performance metrics.  

  • Identify program risks, financial variances, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.  

  • Manage vendor relationships, contract execution, and third-party delivery accountability.  

  • Ensure disciplined governance for scope management, investment prioritization, and value realization.  

 

Executive Communication & Governance 

  • Provide regular executive-level updates to senior leadership and steering committees.  

  • Lead governance forums, program reviews, and executive decision-making sessions.  

  • Present strategic recommendations, risk assessments, and operational insights to leadership teams.  

  • Build strong relationships across technical and business organizations to drive collaboration and accountability.  

  • Influence organizational alignment and drive decision-making across competing priorities.  

 

Leadership & Organizational Change 

  • Lead cross-functional teams, program managers, consultants, and external partners in a matrixed enterprise environment.  

  • Foster a culture of accountability, operational excellence, transparency, and continuous improvement.  

  • Drive change management and communication strategies supporting enterprise transformation efforts.  

  • Mentor and coach program leaders and delivery teams to improve execution maturity and leadership capability.  

 

Qualifications:

Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration,  or a related field.  

  • Master’s degree preferred.  

 

Experience 

  • 10+ years of experience leading large-scale enterprise IT or cybersecurity programs.  

  • Proven success managing complex transformation initiatives with budgets exceeding $50M+.  

  • Experience leading enterprise cybersecurity, Operations Technology (OT), infrastructure, or digital transformation programs.  

  • Demonstrated expertise in program governance, executive reporting, financial management, and strategic planning.  

  • Strong track record delivering measurable business outcomes in highly regulated or operationally complex environments.  

  • Experience managing large cross-functional teams and third-party vendors in matrixed organizations.  

  • Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive alignment across enterprise organizations.

Leaders in this role provide leadership and oversight to manage performance and results in one or more Information Technology (IT) disciplines. Individuals will be accountable for the reliability, performance, security, and continuity of IT systems and supported business processes.

•  Provides leadership, influence, vision, roadmap, and direction to the organization to contribute to achieving the company's goals

•  Works with IT leaders to develop overall IT strategy in alignment with business strategy

•  Oversees the value stream by focusing on cost and risks of technology portfolio to meet business needs

•  Supports and fosters innovative technologies to deliver new ideas that enable business transformation

•  Ensures high levels of ongoing system and application performance in production environments

•  Oversees the development of processes and tools to automate code releases from development to operations (DevOps)

•  Establishes and drives technology roadmaps that align with current and future business needs

•  Manages third party technical and outsourcing relationships to deliver project and operational support objectives

•  Ensures technology processes are conducted in line with applicable standards and company policies

•  Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

•  High School Grad / GED

•  Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience

•  Experience: 10+ years

•  Supervisor/Management Experience: 5+ years
