Position Specific Description

Come join the Digital Transformation underway at NextEra, and lend your Salesforce expertise in supporting Agile Software Delivery on our SalesForce platform by ensuring its health, security and optimization, as well as maturing its use of new tools and processes around governance, security, release management and disaster recovery. This role will provide leadership for platform tasks like pre-emptive monitoring, security standards enforcement, sensitive data encryption along with backup and recovery activities, merging and deploying code, and resolving conflicts for all application teams using the FPLS SalesForce Platform.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works with the Salesforce COE to monitor the FPLS Salesforce platform, performing health checks, regular back-ups, license checks, deactivation of stale accounts, etc.
  • Work as part of the DevOps team, supporting the release train, managing validations, resolving merge conflicts, providing next level of support for development teams in resolving failures
  • Partners with Managers and Agile teams both within FPLS and NEE at large, to ensure compliance and alignment as well as commonality of approach and practice as it relates to platform level tasks.
  • Coordinates activities (training, lunch and learns, etc.) with Agile teams and ARTs to develop in-team capabilities to drive increased maturity in use of the platform
  • Troubleshoots production level issues with the platform, resolving personally if possible, identifying root cause and corrective actions, escalating to Salesforce support if needed and engaging with them until resolved.

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Salesforce Admin Certification

 

Required experience 

The successful candidate will have

• Experience working with Service, Sales, Marketing, and Community clouds

• Experience building, deploying, operating, and monitoring large-scale platform (Salesforce)

• Experience automating software configuration and deployment, preferably including Copado

• At least five years' experience as a Salesforce Administrator

• Experience in the following: • Salesforce • Shield • Copado • Ownbackup

• A total of 5+ years of experience with the Salesforce platform

Job Duties & Responsibilities

•  Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, debugs, implements, maintains, integrates, customizes, and enhances existing or new systems

•  Applies appropriate Agile or development methodologies, system development lifecycles, tools, and technology to manage development activities

•  Automates the handoff of code releases from development to operations (DevOps)

•  Participates in the change management and  service ticket management processes including receiving, resolution monitoring, and ensuring customer satisfaction

•  Leads projects when needed and builds strong working understanding of the solution being delivered

•  Ensures user satisfaction by providing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely resolution of more complex problems

•  Designs, develops, and  tests experimental application work to test new ideas with bounded cost and time frames

•  Ensures that applications processes are conducted in line with corporate social responsibility, security, compliance, environmental, and technical policies and applicable standards and legislation

•  Acts as liaison with regulatory agencies, vendors, and contractors on matters relating to computer systems as required

•  Defines metrics and monitors Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for systems being developed

•  Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

•  High School Grad / GED

•  Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience

•  Experience: 6+ years
