Position Specific Description

Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance for developing production-ready software solutions for the Power Generation division.

  • Focus on software for workflow automation, integration with existing software platforms, and ad-hoc rapid application solutions
  • Manage direct reports who write software in a variety of programming languages (mainly C#, .NET Core Framework, Angular, and TypeScript)
  • Oversee and ensure on-premises server patching, maintenance, and application health monitoring
  • Support team productivity by directing work assignments that lead to the lowest time to value
  • Track team productivity with project managers to allocate work across team members
  • Provide leadership guidance, tools, and coaching to ensure the team is productive and aligned with organizational objectives
  • Interface extensively with multiple teams across PGD to coordinate work and projects, requiring excellent organizational and communication skills
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working in power generation, leadership experience, and strong written and verbal communication skills
