Position Specific Description

The PGD Business Services Controller Organization is seeking a senior-level accounting or FP&A professional to join our team. This role is ideal for a strategic finance professional with demonstrated expertise in process improvement, optimization, and variance analysis who thrives in a cross-functional, business partnered environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesAgreement Interpretation & Accounting Structure

• Interpret contractual agreements and determine appropriate accounting treatment in accordance with company policy and GAAP
• Prepare and book journal entries based on agreement terms and work performed, ensuring accuracy and compliance

Variance Analysis & Financial Storytelling

• Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify trends, drivers, and opportunities
• Articulate the financial story behind the numbers, providing actionable insights to leadership
• Support decision-making through clear, data-driven financial analysis

Month-End Close & Financial Reporting

• Support month end close processes, including accruals, journal entries, and reconciliation
• Support fixed asset accounting processes for our operating business unit
• Support regulatory reporting and internal controls to ensure compliance
