Position Specific Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced reliability engineering leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing reliability engineering programs that ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our wind energy portfolio. As a reliability engineering leader, you will lead a team of engineers or technical specialists and collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and execute strategies that optimize predictive analytics, increase reliability, and reduce costs.
Some Responsibilities Include the Following:
• Develop and implement reliability engineering programs that improve predictive analytics, increase reliability, and reduce costs.
• Lead a team of engineers responsible for reliability engineering and ensure their work is aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
• Develop and execute data acquisition, storage, and analysis strategies leveraging enterprise asset management, business, and operational data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, controls, operations, and quality, to identify and resolve asset and system reliability issues.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop metrics to track the effectiveness of reliability engineering programs.
• Develop and execute strategies to mitigate risks associated with asset and system reliability.
• Run and interpret predictive analytics to improve overall fleet health
• Develop and maintain a reliability engineering knowledge base that includes best practices, industry standards, and emerging technologies.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to the reliability engineering team.
• Develops standards and guidelines for diverse technical and engineering activities.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate Would Possess the Following:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• At least 6 years of experience in reliability engineering or a related field.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with reliability engineering tools and techniques, such as FMEA and FTA.
• Experience with reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) programs
• Experience with statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making.
• Experience with project management and budgeting.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Supervisor/Management Experience – 2+ years
• Certified Professional Engineer (PE)
• Six Sigma Certified – Green Belt
• Six Sigma Certified – Black Belt or Master Black Belt
• Master’s Degree – Engineering

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's - Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program
- Experience: 6+ years
- Leadership Experience: 2+ years, with or without direct reports
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Professional Engineer (PE)
- Six Sigma Black Belt Certified
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certified
- Master's Degree
- Six Sigma Master Black Belt
