Position Specific Description
The Technology Enablement Leader is a key strategic role responsible for driving technology optimization, operational excellence, and organizational transformation across NEER IT. This role involves leading cross-functional initiatives in cloud strategy, application portfolio management, and technology awareness programs. The leader ensures alignment between technology investments and business objectives while fostering innovation and delivering measurable value to the organization through comprehensive technology enablement services.
Essential Responsibilities:
Cloud Strategy
- Define and execute cloud strategy roadmap for NEER IT, incorporating stakeholder feedback and business alignment
- Provide cloud health management services encompassing performance monitoring, cost analysis, and optimization opportunities
- Conduct cloud assessments for architecture, environment setup, migrations, savings plans analysis, and decommissioning
Technology Portfolio & Application Management
- Audit and cleanse application portfolio, developing streamlined processes for tracking application reduction initiatives
- Lead application decommissioning services for teams without internal capacity
- Drive metrics and awareness programs for application simplification across the organization
- Map and optimize technology asset lifecycle management processes
Operational Excellence & Service Reviews
- Collaborate with IT services teams to enhance technology status reporting, including health markers and KPIs
- Conduct operational technology and services reviews, engaging directly with service delivery teams
- Develop and implement Operational Excellence tools and enablers for process improvements, integrations, and dashboard enhancements
Technology Awareness & Governance
- Lead technology awareness campaigns through Cloud Optimization Program (COP), Tech Council, and related initiatives
- Provide cloud opportunity awareness services including training, immersion days, and best practice sharing
- Drive organizational change management for technology adoption and optimization
Continuous Improvement
- Develop and maintain technology governance frameworks and measurement systems
- Foster innovation culture through technology exploration and pilot programs
Preferences:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field
- Proven experience in cloud solutions architecture, design, and implementation with focus on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with FinOps and budget management experience
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with ability to influence across organizational levels
- Experience with agile methodologies, project management, and Six Sigma principles
- Knowledge of IT service management, application portfolio management, and technology governance
- Relevant cloud and technology certifications preferred

Individuals will be accountable for the reliability, performance, security, and continuity of IT systems and supported business processes.

- Provides leadership, influence, vision, and direction to the organization to contribute to achieving the company's goals
- Works with IT leaders to develop overall IT strategy in alignment with business strategy
- Oversees value stream by focusing on cost and risks of technology portfolio to meet business needs
- Supports and fosters innovative technologies to deliver new ideas that enable business transformation
- Ensures high levels of ongoing system and application performance in production environments
- Oversees development of processes and tools to automate code releases from development to operations (DevOps)
- Attracts, develops and retains a high-performing and diverse team
- Establishes and drives technology roadmaps that align with current and future business needs
- Manages third party technical and outsourcing relationships to deliver project and operational support objectives
- Ensures technology processes are conducted in line with applicable standards and company policies
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
- Experience: 7+ years
