Position Specific Description
We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Maintenance Leader. The selected candidate for this position will be responsible for managing the maintenance program for a combined cycle power plant in Orlando, Florida and a simple cycle power plant in Cocoa, Florida.
JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for developing and maintaining both short and long-term maintenance plans ensuring that all activities are conducted following corporate policies and all applicable local, state, and federal permits, codes, standards, and regulations. As a Leader this person will be responsible for the direct supervision and performance management of operations and maintenance employees including the identification of training needs. The successful candidate will work with the Plant Manager to develop multi-year O&M budgets ensuring that all budget targets are met.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure a short-range maintenance work plan is effectively functioning as a cohesive plan across all plant departments, including planning, scheduling, procurement of materials and contract labor
- Define and execute a long-term maintenance strategy utilizing SRCM mindset
- Coordinate all contract negotiations through Supply Chain
- Responsible for all contract administration
- Manage outage planning and strategy to ensure budget optimization and effectiveness of all expenditures
- Work with the Central Maintenance Team, site personnel and contractors as needed to plan and execute all major maintenance and other planned outages
- Provide oversight and strategic direction for maintaining all maintenance procedures
- Provide leadership and precise decisions when serving as on call manager
- Set clear expectations for team members and contractors

Individuals in this position lead internal and external resources to Deliver Certainty, executing plant maintenance to achieve short and long term site goals and objectives in safety, environmental, compliance, reliability, availability and cost management.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
- Experience: 5+ years
- High School Grad / GED
- Supervisor/Management Experience: 2+ years
