Position Specific Description
NextEra is driving the clean energy revolution through its industry-leading solar software platform and financing marketplace. Every day, we support hundreds of solar companies across the US, ensuring they have the tools to be successful and accelerate consumer adoption of clean energy.
We are seeking a well-qualified candidate who is quick to learn, able to ,very detain oriented, a collaborator, and a deep desire to learn and acquire new skills. As a Software Configuration Specialist, you will be asked to:
- Configure new accounts
- Update partners accounts
- Help execute customer requests quickly and without error
Job Overview
The Software Configuration Specialist will be responsible for onboarding and maintaining account configurations. The ideal candidate must be technically savvy, analytical and detail-oriented, and able to creatively problem-solve.
Job Duties
- Create customer accounts
- Template custom documents
- Change account parameters
- Update databases
- Perform other job related duties (there’s opportunity to grow!)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Jira
- Passion for creative problem solving and thinking outside of the box
- A high level of energy, motivation, initiative, commitment, and professionalism
- Excellent time management and discipline to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- Knowledge of common data formats and query languages such as JSON, Angular, XML, SQL a plus
- Knowledge of web services, APIs, and related standards such as HTTP, REST, SOAP, and OAuth a plus
Job Overview
Employees in this role are responsible for maintaining and cultivating customer relationships. This role serves as the primary point of contact for any and all aspects of the assigned customer account.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Under general supervision:
- Researches and resolves sensitive customer requests and complaints
- Ensures timely report of outages
- Performs general account maintenance and billing adjustments
- Performs rate analysis
- Analyzes complex billing problems and researches for solutions
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
• High School Grad / GED
• Experience: 3+ years
Preferred Qualifications
• Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certified
