ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a Product Manager – Data, you will be asked to:
- Use analytical abilities and rigorous thinking to work cross-functionally and tenaciously drive critical data initiatives forward from inception to go-live.
- Work closely with external data providers and other NextEra business units to design data ingestion pipelines.
- Understand the EverBright product offerings in depth to design the necessary data infrastructure that supports overall platform features and functionality.
- Demonstrate strong Product Management discipline regarding requirements gathering, documentation, communication, prioritization, and collaboration.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Write clear and concise product briefs, epics, stories, and tasks that provide detailed requirements for the development and QA teams.
- Work closely with the Analytics team to ensure their tools are fully supported and issues are resolved quickly.
- Work across internal business units to understand and document their requirements for data and pipelines.
- Own the requirements, implementation, and documentation of data pipelines from both internal and external data sources.
- Engage with the data engineering teams to help drive product-led, measurable outcomes through efficient and effective communication and planning.
- Collaborate with the other Product Management team members to align goals and outcomes as well as improve the overall effectiveness of the Product Management organization.
- Take the lead on verification and investigation into data-related issues prior to hand-off to the data engineering team.
- Ensure team documentation is accurate, up to date, and easily accessible.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience: 3+ years
- Understanding of relational databases
- Experience writing SQL queries
- Experience with large data sets
- Understanding of data pipelines (APIs, data archival, data encryption, etc.)
- Passion for clean energy, sustainability, and AI
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
- Experience with large data sets
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence

Job Overview

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Supports product managers to create and execute channel and product growth strategy
- Provides product manager efforts to identify, develop and introduce new products that support group objectives
- Supports execution of Business-to-Customer (B2C) marketing activities through internal and external partners
- Coordinates with customer service staff to ensure customers are satisfied and concerns are remedied with minimal operational impact
- Works with Manager to cross functionally build consensus and gain buy-in from a variety of internal key stakeholders for department efforts
- Develops an understanding and positively impacts financials of products within the group
- Works with management to create, build, and maintain product vendor relationships
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
