Position Specific Description
Employees in this role will lead, design, develop, and maintain our Quality Assurance aka testing strategy. With this position, you will own the strategic planning and technical implementation of the QA framework

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced QA Lead with a strong background in the insurance industry to support strategic system implementation initiatives and ongoing business improvement projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating test plans, define data test strategies, writing user stories, and delivering detailed end to end testing framework along with execution. This role requires both a structured thinker and a hands-on executor who can work across departments to drive clarity, alignment, and actionable outcomes by bridging the gap between business and technology functions.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead the design, development, and implementation of test automation strategies, best practices, and automation standards that cover the full test pyramid
- Write high-quality test code for Database, datasets, UI, API, and integration testing that is scalable, maintainable, efficient, and secure, ensuring comprehensive test coverage
- Participate in code reviews and lead to the development of testing standards
- Monitor and analyze test results, working with team to identify and resolve technical issues and defects in a timely manner
- Continuously improve test processes, tools, and documentation, identifying opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness
- Maintain documentation of test plans, automation frameworks, and testing methodologies
- Conducts analyses and prepares reports that provide operational and/or technical support to business operations
- Conducts quantitative and qualitative research to support small to medium special projects
- Assists with process design and modification for continuous business improvement
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
- SQL experience
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and technical leadership abilities
- Experience: 4+ years
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior P&C insurance industry experience is required.
- Commercial and/or Specialty insurance experience is preferred
- Program insurance and delegated authority model exposure is nice to have
- Knowledge of cloud-based testing solutions

Employees in this role are responsible for utilizing Six Sigma and QI Story tools and techniques to coach and lead teams in key business improvement projects within the business unit or as a corporate function. Individuals lead or assist teams comprised of cross-departmental members to execute on business improvement efforts and projects assigned by management.
