Position Specific Description

A fantastic opportunity to expand your career in renewable energy. Candidates with wind energy experience and specifically Vestas experience will be preferred. The position is in the Town of Murdochville, PQ so candidates must be able to commute or relocate to this area. Candidate must be proficient in verbal and written French and English. Candidate must currently be eligible to work in Canada and must possess a valid passport with no restrictions for travel to the US.

Job Overview

Leaders in this job oversee the Operations and Maintenance activities for a wind energy project. Individuals are responsible for the overall safe and reliable operation of the wind sites.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Ensures compliance to all Power Generation Division (PGD) operational model processes
Leads by example and emulates the PGD shared values
Develops cost-effective operations and maintenance programs
Interfaces with land owners, utilities, regulatory agencies, and local government and community representatives
Monitors and controls plant budget
Ensures that contractual obligations are met
Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
High School Grad / GED
Supervisor/Management Experience: 5+ years
Experience: 5+ years
