Job Description
At NextEra Energy, we are taking our IT Configuration Management to the next level. Come join our Information Management team as we build a stronger IT Configuration Management Program. We are seeking a Senior IT Systems Administrator to fill the role of IT Configuration Manager. If you have a passion for Cyber Security, Compliance and an interest in helping us protect our Critical Infrastructure, then this may be the opportunity for you.

You will join a team focused on supporting processes required to comply with internal and external regulations such as NERC CIP. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that the required information for Configuration Items(CI) is managed at each stage of the CI lifecycle; provisioning, operations, decommission. Job Responsibilities
•    Responsible for executing day-to-day operational activities supporting the provisioning, monitoring and decommission processes required to develop and maintain configuration baselines.
•    Ensures that all CIs baseline changes comply internal and external regulatory controls, according to their classification. 
•    Investigates potential unauthorized deviations to CI baselines.
•    Works with Subject Matter Experts to resolve the non-authorized CI baseline changes.
•    Expected to identify and participate in continuous improvement opportunities to fine-tune related processes.
•    Collects and analyses data to support defined metrics, and report on the effectiveness of IT configuration management processes.
•    Functions as the technical liaison with change control processes and authority to support impact analysis of change execution.
•    Works with the Asset Manager to support CMDB (Configuration Management Database) processes, work instructions and activities in compliance with ITIL framework. 
•    Works with the Asset Manager to support the accuracy of Configuration Items (CIs) in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), including regular audits of the Configuration Items to ensure that all records and relationships are complete and up-to-date. 

•    Experience working with a Configuration Management tool such as Tripwire Enterprise Console and the White List Profiler / Tripwire State Analyzer is preferred.
•    Prior knowledge of NERC CIP-010 Requirements is a plus
•    Prior knowledge working with an ITSM tool, such as ServiceNow or ChangeGear, is a plus.
