Position Specific Description

monitor all end user devices/assets connected to the network empowering our end users to use any device anywhere securely and productively.  

 

Project Execution / Analytical Thinking / Problem Solving 
•    Proficiency in configuring and managing Windows, Mac, Mobile and Linux systems.
•    Responsible for the secure and efficient deployment, management, and support of mobile devices to ensure data security and compliance with NEE policies.
•    Knowledge of end user hardware, software, and networking.
•    Assist in improving features of the Digital Workspace Modern Device Management Technologies.
•    Assist in improving features and services that are operationalized in Intune of both physical and virtual environments.
•    Utilize Intune’s cloud-based functionality to enforce both mobile device management and mobile application management best practices.  Role will leverage additional functionality such as Desktop Analytics, AutoPilot, Azure AD Domain Join, and Hybrid-Domain Join
•    Administer enterprise OS deployment and device management platforms (MDT, Tanium, Intune, Jamf, etc.) for installing, deploying, updating, and monitoring endpoint devices, providing a secure, stable and productive computing resource.
•    Automate aspects of the device lifecycle including deploying and maintaining software, distributing policies and settings along with analyzing resulting data.  Ensure proper Jamf Pro integration with Intune for compliance and reporting purposes.
•    Provide L3 expertise and oversight to LAN and ServiceDesk efforts, making sure all end user applications, policies, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions. This includes performing advanced testing and troubleshooting, working with vendor support, documenting problems and resolutions, and developing and implementing changes at scale. 
•    Provide L3 expertise and resolution on escalated client endpoint incidents and problems, providing problem analysis and issue resolution in a timely manner while meeting resolution SLAs

•    Respond to situations where standard procedures have failed in isolating or fixing a problem and troubleshoot as required.
•    Work on continued improvement and automation opportunities on internal processes 
•    Update any solution designs, technical documents, and diagrams of systems for assigned projects 
•    Troubleshoots hardware, system, and application issues
•    Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Job Overview

This position installs, configures, and maintains computing infrastructure, operating systems, and middleware products on all computer platforms, including mainframes, workstations, and servers - including web servers - in support of 24-hour-per-day, seven-day-per-week business processes.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

•  Evaluates, implements, and modifies operating system software parameters and product solutions for optimum performance

•  Identifies integration and other interface requirements for all supported products and platforms

•  Serves as a technical escalation point for technicians and customers

•  Troubleshoots hardware, system and application issues

•  Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

•  High School Grad / GED

•  Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience

•  Experience: 4+ years
