Position Specific Description

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the IT strategy in alignment with the company's business goals and objectives. Anticipate technological trends and drive innovation to maintain the company's competitive edge.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and provide development opportunities.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Infrastructure Management: Ensure the stability, security, and scalability of the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud services. Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Cybersecurity: Develop and enforce comprehensive cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect the company's data and IT assets from threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, making data-driven decisions to optimize costs and investments while ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  • Vendor Management: Establish and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring the quality of delivered services.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to understand their technology needs and provide solutions that enhance business processes and performance.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure IT operations and activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and policies. Implement best practices and frameworks to govern IT processes.
  • Design, implement, and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, and other related components.
  • Monitor and manage the performance, availability, and security of IT infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for IT infrastructure, including configuration guides, procedures, and policies.
  • Conduct regular system and network audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure data integrity and availability through regular backups and disaster recovery planning.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in IT infrastructure management.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to internal and external clients.
  • Understand and analyze business requirements to develop and implement IT solutions that align with organizational objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including non-technical audiences, to convey technical information and project updates.
  • Provide training and support to end-users as needed.
  • Ability to communicate at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Ability to create content required to aid in the communication with multiple levels of the organization.

Job Overview

This position establishes strategy, develops business plans, and oversees and manages the design, development and implementation of technology solutions to meet business needs. Leaders in this role provide leadership and oversight to manage performance and results in one or more Information Technology (IT) disciplines. Individuals will be accountable for the reliability, performance, security, and continuity of IT systems and supported business processes.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership, influence, vision, and direction to the organization to contribute to achieving the company's goals
  •  Works with IT leaders to develop overall IT strategy in alignment with business strategy
  • Oversees value stream by focusing on cost and risks of technology portfolio to meet business needs
  • Supports and fosters innovative technologies to deliver new ideas that enable business transformation
  • Ensures high levels of ongoing system and application performance in production environments
  • Oversees development of processes and tools to automate code releases from development to operations (DevOps)
  • Attracts, develops and retains a high-performing and diverse team
  • Establishes and drives technology roadmaps that align with current and future business needs
  • Manages third party technical and outsourcing relationships to deliver project and operational support objectives
  • Ensures technology processes are conducted in line with applicable standards and company policies
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: 8+ years
  • Supervisor/Management Experience: 2+ years

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
