Position Specific Description

*** This position can be based out of our Miami, FL or Juno Beach, FL office.***

 

This position provides direct support to the Senior Manager of Cyber Security Operations & Threat Intelligence and works cross functionally with other team members on a range of functions including project, risk, performance, and workforce management, financial budgeting, procurement, and regulatory compliance. As the Principal Business Systems Analyst Strategic Initiatives Leader, the individual must possess the following skills:

 

  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • High-level process and/or project management
  • Excellent commercial skills including analytical problem solving, business acumen, ability to innovate, quality focus, and strategic thinking

 

Position is also responsible for coordinating and communicating across Cyber Security, Information Technology, and other Business Units on a range of topics within the scope of responsibility. The position participates in the overall development, planning, and coordination of new and existing aspects of the program including budgeting, collaboration, metrics/trend report development, policy/standard/procedure development, and technology procurement. Position requires working experience in a technical domain such as Information Technology or similar, preferably with a basic understanding of cyber security concepts.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver presentations on technical concepts for consumption by all levels of management
  • Directly manage or participate in the management of financial budgets, business case development, and risk management activities
  • Assist with workforce management activities including developing career paths, training programs, and overall workload management activities
  • Act as a liaison between project teams and the procurement and related departments (e.g. Legal etc.) to ensure effective and efficient technology procurement processes
  • Assist management in development of program roadmaps and strategies
  • Maintain existing and establish new program metrics and/or trending reports to demonstrate program value to all levels of management
  • Ensure continued compliance with all applicable regulatory compliance requirements including NERC CIP and NRC
  • Respond to both internal and external audits/auditors as needed

 

Qualifications:

  • At least 7+ years of experience in a business systems analyst, project or program management role
  • BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired. Advanced degree preferred (MBA etc.)
  • Six Sigma Green Belt desired
  • Demonstrated track record of project or program delivery as a Business Analyst or Project/Program Manager
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical problem solving, critical thinking, business acumen
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Strong negotiation, influence, mediation & conflict management skills

 

Other:

  • Work locations, Miami, FL or Juno Beach, FL
  • Must be able to qualify for and hold NERC CIP and NRC clearances
  • Must be willing to travel at least 2 times per month; when needed, work extended hours
