Position Specific Description

The Electronic Payment’s team within Customer Service’s Revenue Management Department is responsible for enabling the collection and posting of over 50MM in receivables from various banks and vendors to company systems on a daily basis. With over 91% of customer payments received electronically, the team leverages data and reporting mechanisms to monitor system health of all payment channels and works with stakeholders to identify and address any potential issues. The team ensures we deliver a consistent and seamless payment experience to our customers through both internal and vendor powered channels. The team works on strategic initiatives with various business partners to maintain the integrity of our current payment options and seeks to offer new alternative options to our customers.

 

Primary job responsibilities include:

  • Supports management of the electronic payment portfolio
  • Ensures key metrics in electronic payment adoption are met
  • Ensures compliance with all payment related laws and regulations (i.e. NACHA, Reg. E, EFT Act, etc.)
  • Works with Care Center, CIX, M&C and IT to ensure electronic payments systems are optimized
  • Participates in identifying and recommending continuous improvement solutions for increased overall performance
  • Supports the coordination and execution of strategic initiatives, system changes and projects
  • Maintains and seeks opportunities to upgrade technology infrastructure to enhance operational capabilities
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable SOX, internal/external audit and State/Federal agency requirements.
  • Ensures availability of payment channels by addressing system issues as they occur

Job Overview

To be considered for an internship, you must be actively enrolled at a college or university as a full-time student seeking a bachelor’s degree or higher. You must also have a current cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher (on a 0.00 to 4.00 scale).

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assists department with assigned projects
  • Completes challenging projects and assignments
  • Presents final project to senior leadership at the end of the internship
  • Assumes responsibility for own travel, lodging, and transportation necessary to be available for the program
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High school grad / GED
  • Maintain active enrollment in a Bachelor or higher degree program
  • Maintain cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
