As a summer intern with the Nuclear Fuels organization, you will primarily be responsible for supporting nuclear engineering activities including core design and related analyses, fuel performance, fuel procurement, and project management tasks geared at delivering fuel assemblies and related services to the Fleet’s eight nuclear reactors. These activities rely on several specialized computer applications used throughout the industry. You will interact with Nuclear Fuels and Reactor Engineering personnel on specific assignments in support of optimizing operations of the organization.  You will also be expected to support the development of in-house automation tools and codes to be used by Nuclear Fuels and Reactor Engineering.  If this fits your career goals, apply today!          

Preferred majors include Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering disciplines. Sophomore or Junior level class standing preferred.  Programming experience with R, Python, or C++ are a plus!
