Position Specific Description
Please note: this position is based out of the Jupiter West location. NextEra Energy is seeking a Senior User Experience (UX) Web Designer who will play a crucial role in creating exceptional user experiences for internal enterprise applications in support of Nuclear Business Unit. This position involves collaborating cross-functionally with various stakeholders, UX team members, and ensuring design quality and consistency across projects. Overview This job is responsible for creating exceptional user experiences for nuclear business unit specific applications. The Senior User Experience Web Designer works cross-functionally and collaboratively to design the graphical user interface and experience for applications and websites, guiding developers through fulfilling the design experience. Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborates with product management and developers to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience
- Executes all visual design stages from concept to a collaborative hand-off with software developers
- Conceptualizes original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
- Works with developers to modify HTML, CSS, and JavaScript concepts of web applications to align with designed experience
- Demonstrates both user interface and user experience concepts to product management
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High School Grad / GED
- Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience
- Experience: 4+ years
