Position Specific Description

This position that will be part of the Power Delivery IT (PDIT) team working on Salesforce initiatives in support of multiple Power Delivery Business Units.  The Salesforce product suite including SF Field Service, Community Portal, mobile features, Scheduling, Maps, and Mulesoft integrations are utilized heavily in enabling solutions that deliver business value to meet business objectives. Specifically, the Power Delivery business unit is looking to use Field Service to manage, schedule and execute the work of up to 10k field crews doing a variety of work in the state. 

 

We are looking to onboard a Sr. Scrum Master with extensive knowledge and experience working across multiple teams on large scale projects. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing Salesforce projects. The individual will be responsible for interfacing with the business unit leaders and key subject matter experts across multiple teams simultaneously. They will also be responsible for interfacing with peripheral IT organizations such as Analytics & Reporting, Cyber Security, and Architecture Organizations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of multiple interfacing systems in line with strategic business objectives and organization guidelines
  • Acquire and coordinate necessary resources to meet project needs.
  • Plan and track all project activities using Jira, Teams, Sharepoint, Power BI, QMetry and other project management tools.
  • Manage project scope, time and cost to meet project commitments.
  • Lead various project meetings: Product Backlog Prioritization, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand ups, Retrospective, etc.
  • Manage Program increment and sprints effectively
  • Ensure quality of project team deliverables.
  • Document and report status and issues.
  • Anticipate, identify, and resolve roadblocks 
  • Conduct planning sessions with various stakeholders to create documented management plans that specify the project plan and scope.
  • Participate in technology/solution decisions with project and interfacing teams for projects and ensure that technical design, unit testing, deployment, and implementation requirements are properly documented.
  • Collaborate with NextEra IT team and other stakeholders for all technical needs.
  • Upon project completion conduct meetings with stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition of services from implementation to support.
  • Manage and support the project prioritization and intake process. 
  • Deliver quality deliverables for management requests in a timely manner with resiliency and flexibility
  • Manage and adapt to changes effectively

 

Qualifications:

  • SAFE Agile Certification preferred
  • PMP preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years of in-depth experience in agile, solutions design, and delivery of enterprise level solutions.
  • Solid project management and team leadership skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast paced, technical environment.
  • Excellent planning, organizational skills and ability to follow-through until processes are completed.
  • Experience in leading Agile/Scrum projects.
  • Extensive experience and expertise with Atlassian tools: Jira, Portfolio, Qmetry, Confluence
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Superior experience building strong business partnerships and teamwork

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Organizes and facilitates work planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, and sprint and release planning
  • Facilitates collaboration for both internal and external teams, resolving conflict, removing impediments, and reducing external dependencies
  • Coaches team members and stakeholders in preparation for Scrum ceremonies and events and in goal attainment
  • Coaches team in Agile sizing techniques, makes appropriate and realistic commitments, and works closely with Product Owners
  • Uses the Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool to prepare, communicate, and share team metrics and delivery results
  • Creates a product roadmap, coaches the writing of value-driven user stories, features, and epics, and maintains a well-refined backlog
  • Provides regular feedback to the Agile Transformation Team about new insights and lessons learned from team experiences
  • Embraces servant leadership and displays behaviors that come with the key mindset shifts associated with being Agile
  • Keeps informed and educated about industry trends concerning Agile methodologies
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
