Position Specific Description
Position Overview This position is embedded in nuclear fuel business operations, working closely with procurement leadership, finance, legal, nuclear operations, and external nuclear fuel vendors. The role requires strong judgment, attention to detail, and comfort taking ownership of complex workstreams while learning the nuclear fuel cycle. This is not an IT, systems, or software delivery role. The focus is on commercial execution, financial modeling, vendor coordination, and procurement support within a regulated energy environment. The Nuclear Fuel Procurement team is responsible for securing and managing nuclear fuel materials that support the safe, reliable operation of NextEra Energy’s nuclear fleet. This role supports nuclear fuel procurement activities by managing commercial information, developing financial models, and preparing materials used to support procurement decisions and leadership reviews.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Conducts analyses and prepares reports that provide operational and/or technical support to business operations
- Conducts quantitative and qualitative research to support medium to large special projects
- Assists with process design and modification for continuous business improvement
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High School Grad / GED
- Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
- Experience: 3+ years
