Position Specific Description

Come join the exciting world of FPL Information Technology!  We develop the software and technology that enable one of the most advanced electric grid networks in the world.

This position is an IT Business Systems Analyst.  The Business Analyst is responsible for ensuring user stories are well defined, performing deep data analysis, ensuring traceable tests, supporting quality automation, and partnering with business leads to deliver high value technology solutions.  They collaborate with Product Owners to understand and improve business processes, assist in training, and help the organization manage change as new ways of working are established.

Candidates should have strong Agile experience and be effective communicators who thrive on teamwork.  They should have a passion for technology and a focus on business results.  They should possess the flexibility and adaptability necessary to meet evolving business needs that drive new ideas and projects.

•   Collaborates, on an on-going basis, with the Programmer/Analysts and business partners
•   Applies advanced analytical skills within functional area
•   Devises or modifies procedures to solve straight-forward problems
•   May act as project leader for smaller projects
•   Builds strong working understanding of the solution being delivered
•   Performs other job-related duties as assigned
