Strategic Programs Lead

Position Specific Description

The role involves working on NEM’s Full Requirements team, the load-following arm of NextEra’s power trading organization, taking on strategic and commercial projects directly impacting team operations and processes. Projects involve solving complex problems and improving operating performance, in addition to expanding commercial capabilities and data analysis. This job will leverage technical skills, commercial acumen and entrepreneurial drive to generate value for the portfolio.

The core duties of this role involve:

• Quickly understanding operating models and issues
• Collaborating with a matrixed organization in data gathering, interpretation, and analysis
• Conducting detailed data analysis and modeling to understand underlying issues and opportunities
• Assisting in building and maintaining relationships with complementary business units
• Compiling and presenting findings via PowerPoint to the team members and business unit leadership
