Position Specific Description

NextEra Energy is seeking a talented Strategic Initiatives Senior Analyst for the Finance Solutions Organization. The successful candidate will support technology solutions and process improvements with a primary focus on NextEra’s Treasury Organization. This role involves analyzing business needs, supporting project execution, coordinating with stakeholders, and helping implement practical solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technology Solutions: Support the identification, development, testing, and deployment of technology solutions that enhance the capabilities of the Treasury organization and align with business needs.
  • Efficiency Improvements: Analyze existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and support implementation of technology-enabled efficiencies across Treasury and the broader Finance organization.
  • Project Coordination: Support projects and assigned workstreams from planning through implementation by maintaining project plans, tracking deliverables, coordinating meetings, documenting decisions, and following up on actions and risks.
  • Problem Resolution: Investigate business challenges, perform analysis to identify root causes, and support the development and implementation of effective solutions and corrective actions.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Contribute to strategic initiatives that advance the Treasury organization’s objectives and operational goals by completing analysis, coordinating activities, and supporting implementation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work with cross-functional partners, including the broader Finance Organization, IT, and Operations, to gather requirements, communicate updates, and support successful project outcomes.

 

Ideal Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, IT or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance, business analysis, project coordination, process improvement, technology solutions, or a related areas

Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on assigned deliverables.
    • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and support change implementation.
    • Proficiency with technology platforms and tools, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams and work with stakeholders at different levels of the organization.

  • Conducts analyses and prepares reports that provide operational and/or technical support to business operations
  • Conducts quantitative and qualitative research to support small to medium special projects
  • Assists with process design and modification for continuous business improvement
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: 4+ years
