This position sits within the Power Generation Division Technical Services Team. The Strategic Alignment General Manager will be responsible for supporting and implementing organizational strategies, changes and tactics designed to maximize employee adoption of various business unit and corporate transformation initiatives and to insure that the whole Team is fully aligned with those initiatives. This individual will work closely with the power generation executive leadership team, human resources, corporate communication and other key leaders to assess the level of change, and helps develop and execute an appropriate strategy, including leadership and stakeholder engagement, communication, training and adoption of plans. In addition we are seeking a candidate with a strong background in managing and leading organizational alignment and change with a focus on the human side of change and must be able to connect quickly and understand the psychology of industry organizational alignment, change practices and has led large organizational efforts

Job Overview

Employees in this role oversee a team of managers, engineers, and/or technical specialists. This position is accountable for developing and executing critical fleet level initiatives and serves as a catalyst in creating an interdependent culture between the Power Generation Division services and the operations teams.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements effective strategies that will maintain the company’s position of leadership in the power generation market
  • Sets high standards and builds a high performance organization
  • Delivers total operational excellence through the effective utilization of the Operational Model processes and the deployment and management of quality initiatives
  • Applies creative problem solving and decision making, with an uncompromising focus on what is important and what is not
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: 7+ years
  • Supervisor/Management Experience: 7+ years

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s - Engineering
