Position Specific Description

Responsibilities include leading projects to shape the IT employee experience, workplace culture, developing, and driving programs throughout the employee life cycle to advance the mission and vision of the IT organization. This individual will also need to effectively interact with IT business unit leaders at all levels, and possess excellent communication skills, and business acumen.  The selected candidate will support functions including talent development, IT employee communications, career paths for IT employees, and partnering with the IT leadership team in ensuring a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Partners with the IT leadership team to understand and execute IT talent development strategy particularly as it relates to current and future skills, development, and growth
  • Supports IT employee communications, business unit meetings, and strategic IT leaders events
  • Partner with business unit leadership on learning and development strategies for IT employees
  • Assess training needs, develop, and facilitate learning content for IT employees
  • Support and partner with corporate learning team to promote a culture of learning
  • Serve as an internal Brand Ambassador for the IT business unit’s culture, values, leadership attributes, while also providing a constant pulse on the needs of IT team members
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and activities as needed
  • Perform hands-on project management including timeline and deliverables, monitoring and status reporting, and budget tracking

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of managing strategic programs around employee experience, including talent development, employee engagement, and communications.  Prior learning and development experience is a plus.

Job Overview

This position establishes strategy, develops business plans, and oversees and leads in the design, development and implementation of technology solutions to meet business needs. Leaders in this role provide leadership and oversight to manage performance and results in one or more Information Technology (IT) disciplines. Individuals will be accountable for the reliability, performance, security, and continuity of IT systems and supported business processes.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership, influence, vision, and direction to the organization to contribute to achieving the company's goals
  • Works with IT leaders to develop overall IT strategy in alignment with business strategy
  • Oversees value stream by focusing on cost and risks of technology portfolio to meet business needs
  • Supports and fosters innovative technologies to deliver new ideas that enable business transformation
  • Ensures high levels of ongoing system and application performance in production environments
  • Oversees development of processes and tools to automate code releases from development to operations (DevOps)
  • Attracts, develops and retains a high-performing and diverse team
  • Establishes and drives technology roadmaps that align with current and future business needs
  • Manages third party technical and outsourcing relationships to deliver project and operational support objectives
  • Ensures technology processes are conducted in line with applicable standards and company policies
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: 7+ years

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Supervisor/Management Experience: 2+ years
