Position Specific Description
About the Role
Execute strategic, cross-functional projects that deliver measurable business value across NextEra Energy's 30+ business units. Partner with senior stakeholders to drive process improvements, technology implementations, and transformation initiatives from inception through delivery.
What You'll Do
- Lead complex projects simultaneously, managing scope, schedule, budget, and stakeholder expectations
- Partner with business units to define requirements, develop project plans, and drive execution and Execute on Project
- Identify and mitigate project risks; escalate blockers and secure resources to keep initiatives on track
- Track and report project performance using KPIs, dashboards, and executive-level status updates
- Facilitate project teams through workshops, sprint planning, and standup meetings
- Document processes, lessons learned, and best practices to strengthen organizational PM capability
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field
- 7+ years progressive project management experience
- PMP preferred
- Proven track record managing projects and delivering measurable ROI
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to influence without authority
- Proficiency with project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Confluence)
Preferred:
- Six Sigma Green Belt or process improvement background
- Experience in energy, utilities, or regulated industries
- Familiarity with Alteryx, Power BI, Power Automate, MS 365 suite

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Plans, coordinates and completes large-scale or several medium or small, complex or long term project(s) within budgetary and scheduling guidelines
- Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
- Secures required resources and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes
- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis
- Identifies issues and challenges, measures and validates results, and implements solutions
- Provides information to internal and external clients on moderate to complex issues
- Creates and communicates presentation materials for report out and updates with various levels of internal and external stakeholders
- Conducts external research and stays abreast of new developments or innovative advancements pertaining to the project
- Provides coaching, leadership and direction to project team
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High School Grad / GED
- Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
- Experience: 4+ years
