Position Specific Description

The individual in this position will be reporting to a Senior Director on the Regulatory and Political Affairs Team and will be physically located in our Corporate Headquarters (Juno Beach, FL).  Typically candidates who excel in this role have specific experience within a regulatory role and/or policy/legislative experience. This role will include some travel to the regions in which the Company does business. In this role you will have an opportunity to directly impact our existing North America-wide renewable efforts, along with our aggressive renewable expansion.

Job Overview

Employees in this role support the Regulatory Affairs team and are involved in the Company’s projects and assets, including regulation and legislation in support of those assets. This position collaborates with different business units and involves familiarity with a variety of regulatory and legislative concepts, practices, and procedures.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Analyzes and reports on changes in regulations, legislation, or tariffs and their expected impacts
  • Assists management in the monitoring of local, state and/or federal regulatory and legislative development to identify issues affecting company's operations and plans
  • Assists in coordinating the representation of organization's interests before state regulatory and legislative bodies
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience: 4+ years

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree
