Position Specific Description

This job will report to the Regulatory Issues Manger responsible for the development of the Company’s regulated Clauses and rates and related activities.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Take lead role in the cost of service and rate design for functional areas as required (retail, adjustment clause, or wholesale)
  • Support rate-related regulatory proceedings needed to obtain regulatory approval of the rates not limited to preparing filings, including testimony, minimum filing requirements, responding to Interrogatories.
  • Develop and maintain rates related reporting and analyses utilizing the Company’s data warehouse and Utilities International.
  • Develop and prepare analyses and presentations for tariff and rate design related matters using advanced regulatory knowledge and communication and organizational skills.
  • Perform Ad-hoc analysis as needed.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Work is specialized and complex in nature.

 

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and advanced level of experience with software used for analyzing and reporting with large datasets (Excel, Power BI, etc).
  • 5+ Years of regulated utility experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings with minimal supervision.
  • Must have the ability to meet deadlines under changing conditions.

Job Overview

Employees in this role are responsible for the development of rates, lead research, billing determinants and revenues associated with those rates as well as filings associated with rate approval.
