Position Specific Description
NextEra Energy’s Internal Audit Department is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join our team. This role will be based in our Juno Beach office and will report to the Internal Audit Investigations Leader. The primary responsibilities include working on investigations related to allegations of potential fraud, non-compliance, policy violations, and other improprieties. This role requires great commitment to ethics, a precisely investigative mindset and excellent analytical abilities. The ideal candidate will have experience applying investigative techniques, gathering evidence, conducting interviews, and preparing comprehensive reports to present findings and recommendations. As a leading clean energy company, we are committed to leveraging the latest technologies and tools, including artificial intelligence (AI), to drive efficient and effective investigations.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Applies broad company knowledge, concepts, processes, procedures and methodologies to conduct independent audit reviews
• Conducts large, complex audits with limited to minimal supervision
• Contributes to large audit projects by adding value to project scope, making recommendations, and writing audit reports
• Conducts Sarbanes-Oxley testing as necessary
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
• High School Grad / GED
• Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
• Experience: 4+ years
Preferred Qualifications
• Certified Internal Auditor
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Certified Information Systems Aud (CISA)
• Bachelor's - Accounting / Finance
