Position Specific Description

Do you want to be on the front line helping the world’s largest companies decarbonize?  This position will provide renewable project engineering design to Fortune 1,000 companies, helping them mature along the decarbonization journey.  The perfect candidate will have at least 5 years of renewable system engineering experience.


Goals of a Lead Systems Engineer may include:

  • Analyze electric and thermal load data and support technical understanding of potential customers

  • Prepare project design and configurations based on customer load profiles and tariff structures

  • Evaluate thermodynamic efficiency and CO2 emissions of proposed renewable project solutions

  • Study customer utility tariff structures to understand current operational costs

  • Evaluate renewable product options and prepare technical analysis

  • Build customer cost/benefit analysis for potential renewable projects

  • Recommend high value renewable projects


A successful candidate must have:  

  • Ability to configure renewable energy projects including output, efficiency, capacity factor, capital, and O&M costs

  • Ability to configure wind, solar, battery storage, and CHP solutions

  • Ability to deliver concise executive level summary of renewable project technical justification

  • Ability to translate the renewable project technical configuration into business justification


This position is critical to developing a compelling product offering to customers

  • Bachelor’s - Engineering
  • Experience: 4+ years

  • Certified Professional Engineer (PE)
