Position Specific Description

As a Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance, maintenance, and customer satisfaction of residential solar energy systems. You will oversee a team responsible for monitoring system performance, scheduling maintenance activities, troubleshooting issues, and delivering exceptional service to homeowners. Your expertise in solar energy systems and your leadership skills will be essential in maximizing the efficiency and longevity of our clients' solar investments.


Responsibilities:

 

 Team Leadership:
•    Lead and manage a team of service technicians and support staff.
•    Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure high performance and professionalism within the team.
•    Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.


System Monitoring and Performance Management:
•    Implement and oversee monitoring systems to track the performance of residential solar assets.
•    Analyze performance data and identify trends or anomalies that may indicate system issues or opportunities for optimization.
•    Develop strategies to maximize energy production and system efficiency.


Maintenance and Repairs:
•    Coordinate scheduled maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and longevity of solar assets.
•    Respond promptly to system alarms, customer inquiries, and service requests.
•    Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with solar panels, inverters, and associated components.
•    Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or warranty services as needed.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Implement and oversee monitoring systems to track the performance of residential solar assets
  • Analyze performance data and identify trends or anomalies that may indicate system issues or opportunities for optimization
  • Coordinate scheduled maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and longevity of solar assets
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with solar panels, inverters, and associated components
  • Identifies and delivers innovative solutions to meet dynamic business needs for the company
  • Provides weekly reporting to management on several key metrics and KPIs
  • Develop strategies to maximize energy production and system efficiency
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience: 5+ years
  • Leadership Experience: 1+ years
  • Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • Experience: 6+ years
  • Leadership Experience: 2+ years
