Position Specific Description

Come join our team in expansion!  The Senior ERP Business Systems Analyst is responsible for:

  • Supporting the planning and forecast system  - Business Planning and Consolidations (BPC)
  • Providing day-to-day technical and functional assistance to BPC business users.
  • Enhancing system to support new automation and business requirements
  • Testing system upgrades, support packages, disaster recovery scenarios

 

Position Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting or Finance and/or Management Information Systems
  • 2 - 4 years of experience with accounting / finance systems is required
  • Superior analytical and organizational skills and in depth functional knowledge of SAP BPC and financial planning
  • Experience working in a user support capacity is highly preferred
  • Able to work with business finance resources to analyze business situation, understand business demand, create or understand business requirements and translate into a variety of outputs – business case, technical requirements and functional specifications, test plans, solution
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and in depth understanding of EPM add-in,
  • SAP BW, SAP BPC, Administration a plus
  • SAP Business Explorer (BEx Query Designer) preferred
  • Experience with BPC script logic
  • SAP BPC expertise in data modeling, report & input template development, script logic, data loading and transformations
  • Working knowledge of financial statements and U.S. based accounting practices
  • Basic understanding of financial concepts and terminologies
  • Ability to work in high pressure, time-constrained situations
  • Ability to work flexible hours, occasional evening and weekends.
  • High attention to detail and quality
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills with uncompromising integrity and a strong work ethic
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently with little supervision

 

Accountabilities

  • Provide day-to-day assistance to BPC users worldwide related to the use of system; support users questions and requests related to data loads, reports, etc.
  • Support the monthly accounting closing process especially as it relates to site data loads, dimension member mapping (FIM), and various other controls.
  • Document quarterly Sarbanes Oxley requirements for BPC systems, Entities, accounts, and users
  • BPC Administrator backup including performing metadata dimension member changes such as entities, intercompany trading partners, accounts, categories, member formulas, and logic scripts
  • FIM Administrator with responsibility for overall mapping process, job creation, Data Services customization, backup and process integrity.
  • Training on data load process for new users
  • Prepare close calendar

Job Overview

This position provides end-user support within the SAP software environment. Employees in this role are responsible for specification and configuration of SAP application enhancements and proactive identification of opportunities to use SAP functionality to better support business processes. Successful candidates will work with project managers, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Business Solutions Managers, and information management and business representatives to keep abreast of operational issues and initiatives with a potential SAP impact.
