Your insights will shape decisions across development, origination, and commercial strategy—helping us anticipate shifts, seize opportunities, and strengthen our competitive positioning. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, market research, and policy —connecting the dots between what competitors are doing, how the market is evolving, and where strategic opportunities may arise.
What You’ll Do:
- Track Competitor Strategies: Monitor how key players are approaching development, pricing, partnerships, and market expansion across technologies and geographies.
- Analyze Market and Industry Trends: Research and interpret emerging trends in renewable energy, including shifts in investment focus, commercialization strategies, and technology deployment.
- Translate Policy into Strategy: Interpret how regulatory and policy changes affect development economics, competitive risk, and siting strategy— partnering closely with our regulatory and transmission teams.
- Evaluate Competitive Positioning: Analyze competitor activity and financial standing to assess strengths, risks, and strategic intent.
- Deliver Strategic Insights: Synthesize market intelligence into clear, actionable recommendations that shape internal strategy and regional prioritization.
- Provide Market-Facing Deliverables: Create research briefs, dashboards, and presentations highlighting competitor moves, pricing trends, and policy implications for internal stakeholders.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years in market research, strategy or competitive intelligence - ideally in energy, infrastructure, or a related field.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with experience interpreting pricing trends, policy, and competitor behavior.
- A strategic mindset and the ability to distill complex market signals and data into clear business implications.
- Experience with financial analysis, policy interpretation, and market forecasting a plus.
- Passion for connecting dots across data, policy, and industry behavior to drive forward-looking strategy.
