 Position Specific Description

As a Senior Project Manager, Development - you will be responsible for executing plans for acquisitions and development of new transmission projects. This job is responsible for resource allocation, schedules, cost, and financial adequacy, ensuring the project or transaction is completed in the most cost effective and competitive manner. This position manages all aspects of the business deal and ensures the project is executed timely and meets all financial metrics.

 

Overall Responsibilities:
•    Coordinate due diligence activities with other internal groups to ensure all aspects of project acquisition or development are reviewed and completed in a timely and thorough manner.
•    Structure and execute contractual arrangements necessary to support project development, including negotiating agreements with consultants and subcontractors.
•    Lead the coordination with internal and external specialists and Subject Matter Experts regarding regulatory, legal accounting, valuation, planning etc.
•    Organize and manage material to support project timelines and key milestones.  Communicate timelines and risks with project team and management.
•    Ensure compliance with applicable technical and regulatory requirements.
•    Foster external relationships with customers, third parties and members of the community.
•    Performs other job-related duties as assigned
•    Manages all aspects of the day to day transaction process to ensure timely completion as well as a cost effective and competitive results
•    Leads and coordinates key functions such as financial feasibility analyses, planning design, project legal review, and financial negotiations
•    Coordinates due diligence activities with other internal groups to ensure proper analysis and structuring of transaction or new development
•    Acts as liaison between internal and external specialists regarding regulatory due diligence, legal, accounting, valuation, planning etc.
•    Develops contractual arrangements for project development
•    Negotiates agreements with consultants and subcontractors
•    Ensures compliance with applicable technical and regulatory requirements
•    Prepares presentations to be provided to Senior and Executive Management as well as external counterparties
•    Fosters external relationships with customers, third parties and members of the community
•    Performs other job-related duties as assigned
The job location is in Juno Beach, Florida. Fully remote candidates will be considered based on their experience and qualifications.

  • Responsible for managing multiple and complex projects 
  • Coordinates due diligence activities with other internal groups to ensure proper analysis and structuring of assigned projects
  • Acts as liaison between internal and external specialists regarding procurement, contracting, permitting and interconnection
  • Constructs contractual arrangements for project development
  • Negotiates agreements with consultants and subcontractors
  • Ensures compliance with applicable technical and regulatory requirements
  • Fosters external relationships with customers, third parties and members of the community
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad/GED
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience:  5+ years
